My name is Sandra and I was born in Hamburg roughly 30 years ago. My love for metal music is not quite as old yet – it started when dipping my toes into the genre in my teens and has stayed with me ever since. After passionately visiting concerts and festivals for over a decade, a series of unintentional but (in hindsight) lucky events resulted in me standing in the photo pit for a Wind Rose gig back in 2023 with my cheap beginner DSLR camera. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing (to be fair, I still don’t :D) but that evening unlocked a new hobby for me. I love capturing the essence of the moment through my lense and try to improve a little bit with every show I attend.

And apart from that? Well, in my not-so-free time I work as an engineer (to pay for all that expensive camera equipment, among other things). And when I’m not at work or a concert, you’ll most likely find me curled up on the couch with a book in my hands and my beloved cat on my lap. I also love to draw and paint (though I unfortunately do it way too seldomly these days) and consider myself a semi-professional theme park nerd.
